Reviews: do you want to know what happens?
I am writing a review for school, and I am intentionally not giving away important plot points in the story. When you read a review about a book, or a movie, do you WANT know a little bit about the content, or do you prefer the review is vague so it doesn't ruin the story for you?

In my opinion, you should never give away key points in the story. Part of the enjoyment of reading is discovery. You don't want to be a spoiler!

I like to get a few quotes and the beginning of the story and a bit of how it proceeds so that i can understand the main theme.Don't give away the ending.Go upto a certain pt and say,"the book deals with what happens next in the life of............" or whatevr.
