How do I send my son to a different school than he is slotted for?
The school my son will be going to next year is rated only a 3 out of 10 by the state, has horrible parent and state reviews, atrocious TAKS test scores and the teacher to student ratio leaves much to be desired. I found a school in town that scored an 8 of 10 by the state, has great parent reviews, wonderful TAKS test scores and has a much better teacher to student ratio. How can I start him in the better school when it is not in my district.

You need to check with the school district of each school. In our area, schools are full and they do not allow anyone to go to any other school than what they are zoned for. If you do get permission you would have to provide your own transportation for your child.
