is it illegal to write a bad review about a school?
i've heard of people getting sued over bad reviews on other things but i just want to make sure.

no, it's called freedom of speech. however: if you say horrible things about a school that are not true and it causes them to lose their students or staff they can sue you. just make sure what you say is true.

No its not illegal, if you make up lies about it then they can sue you for libel However, it may be against your schools policy and that could get you into trouble with the school

Well...you can't Libel any person or institution. You can't knowingly state things in your review that you know are untrue. Anything you state as a fact has to be accurate. Opinions are a different matter because they are subjective.
