Why is Emily thrown out of mermaid school in the 4th Emily Windsnap book?
I keep reading that Emily is kicked out of mermaid school in reviews for the 4th Emily Windsnap book! Can anyone explain to me why?

Shona's teacher finds out that Emily is a semi-mer and since everybody is so against humans (cuz bulldozers are starting to wreck ship-rock) she kicks her out.
