I am going to start KAPLAN college on JAN.2010, but I keep getting mixed reviews on it is a good school or not?

Do not go to Kaplan. It is a for-profit, proprietary school whose mission is to make money for its owners. Its degrees carry little or no respect.

There's one in my hometown. It's basically viewed as a community college there. The community colleges are definitely below the state universities. It is good for a few select programs, but absolutely none of my friends really consider it a respectable school (my hometown has Kaplan, another community college, and a state university).
